Great Escape

A few guys watch from the safety(?) of their rubber dingy as a group of orca (killer whales) chase a penguin in the waters. After a long chase, the penguin seeks refuge on the boat with the humans. I'm quite impressed that the orca didn't try flipping the boat the get at their prey.

Cooking Mama (PETA Edition)

I'm all for PETA, but this just floored me. For those out of the loop, Cooking Mama is a cooking video game for the Nintendo Wii. Apparently, PETA commissioned an parody version of the game to promote vegetarianism by having you create some nightmarish thanksgiving turkey. It's so absurdly grotesque that the game ends up looking like a parody on PETA.

First Snow of the Season

Woke up this morning to the first substantial snow fall this season.

We did have a little snow the weekend before Halloween, but that melted as soon as it hit the ground.

As I look out the window, there is still a light amount of snow falling.
