Settling In

Well, today was my first full day working in my new office. Also got to meet the new Assistant Chief Engineer, Vincent. He's from Texas and is new to the northern states.

It's still in the single digits today. Only a few more days until we get back in the decent double-digit temperatures.

Just a little while ago Jan came downstairs saying she had an odd bird outside her window, so I grabbed my camera and went up for a peak. Bonnie thought it was an owl, I thought it was a small hawk. Well, after comparing it to some pictures online, I think it may be a young Northern Hawk Owl.

UPDATE: This bird has been identified as a Kestrel.
