Son Of Stone

When I was a kid and spent summers at my grandparents place, I remember reading some of my Uncles comics. Among them were a some "Turok: Son of Stone" comics from Gold Key. It was a story about two pre-Columbian Native American indians (Turok and Andar) who stumble into a "Lost Valley" filled with dinosaurs and cavemen and their journey to find their way back home.
Back in the 90's the property was bought out by Valiant Comics (and then Acclaim) who brought Turok (and some cyberneticly augmented dinosaurs) into a modern setting. Acclaim then turned the setting into several video games which I've never been a fan of.

Last night while I was at WalMart, I came across a "Turok: Son of Stone" animated movie. I was stunned! I appeared that they went with the original premise of Turok & Andar getting lost in a valley of dinosaurs. Though they have augmented the story a bit (though respectably) and changed Turok from being pre-Columbian to being from the 1800s. Not a significant change, but notable.
